For over three decades this establishment at the cross roads of state routes 105 & 184 has welcomed locals, visitors, newcomers, and students alike…and all have been made to feel at home. Through over 120 passing seasons this gathering place has become as integral to the landscape as Grandfather Mountain itself.

Casual upscale restaurant featuring American fare. Beech Mountain Grille offers both dine-in and take-out, and is conveniently located on Beech Mountain Parkway across from Beech Mountain Town Hall. Open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday from 4-9 p.m.
Bodega’s Kitchen & Wine Bar offers Caribbean-inspired fare and tapas style dining. Nestled in the beautiful mountain setting of Banner Elk, Bodegas has a casually sophisticated atmosphere that caters to date night and family time all at the same time!
Paul Alcazar and Jocelyn Yost are the owners and operators of Bodegas, and you can often find one of them in the restaurant at any given time. Paul’s father was from Cuba, and Paul had a great love and appreciation for Cuban food while he was growing up. Paul had always dreamed of opening his own restaurant, and when he and Jocelyn discovered Banner Elk, and the recently renovated Eagles Nest Marketplace, they decided to take the plunge and open Bodegas. He has now turned his dream into a reality, and Bodegas is loved by locals and visitors alike.
